Johnny Eugene Perez
December 1983 – August 2024
Johnny will be missed dearly by his loving family. He was born in Turlock to Rudy Perez and Julie Hernandez and had lived in the area his whole life. Johnny was a very hard worker who had a lot of hobbies. Johnny was very athletic in high school with football and wrestling. He loved anything that could be done in the outdoors; especially fishing, exploring and kayaking. His family will miss his great ability to tell stories that were detailed and entertaining. Johnny’s life was forever changed when his “little one”, Kaitlyn was born. He cherished Kaitlyn and the time they spent together. Johnny loved time spent with family.
He is survived by his daughter Kaitlyn Perez; parents Julie Hernandez and Rudy Perez; step mom Lydia Perez; siblings Edmond Perez and Rudy Perez and Anthony Baptista and his ex-wife of 19 years Rayeann Helnore.
Please join the family in remembering Johnny and telling all your stories about him. A celebration of Johnny’s life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at VFW Hall, 1405 E. Linwood Ave. in Turlock from 12:00-5:00p.m. in the park area. Please bring a side dish or dessert to accompany the Tri-Tip and chicken served. Bar will be open but absolutely NO outside alcohol is allowed.
Johnny’s daughter, Kaitlyn has requested people wear camo or dress as Johnny would. If you would like to help or donate anything please get in contact with the family. The family appreciates everyone’s help and love during this time.
