Turlock, Ca- Marvin Larson, 92 was born and raised in Turlock, Ca.
Marvin attended Turlock High School and was an avid Football player. He later married his High School Sweetheart and had 3 beautiful children.
Marvin served in the Korean War and the Color Guard. He was an active member of Local VFW, American Legion, and a Member and worked for the Carpenters Union for over 35 years. He was also an active member of the Good Shepard Church in Turlock.
Later in life he met and married Veva Baker and were happily married for 35 years. Veva sadly passed away on Mother’s Day in 2023.
Marvin resided at LaSierra Center in Merced for the last 3 years. He was a Great Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather and will be missed dearly.
Marvin leaves behind his children, Lee Larson, Karen Mireles (Raul), Myron Larson, and Stepdaughter Julie Baballe (Allen).
His Grandchildren Dustin Gomes (Debbie), Brandon Larson (Brittni), Jesseka Sommerdyke (Austin), Nicole Buchanan (Rikki), Cole Cozine, Dylan Baballe.
His Great Grandchildren, Landon Gomes, Brooklyn Gomes, Leighton Sommerdyke, Brantley Sommerdyke, Riley Larson, and Maddison Larson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 @ 11:00 am at Good Shepard Church in Turlock, Ca. Interment to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
