Aug. 1954 – Apr. 2018
Terry L. Griffin, 63, a compassionate and gracious man, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Terry was a resident of Hilmar for 31 years. He owned a small business “Terry L. Griffin Roofing” for 40 years.
Terry enjoyed playing bingo, and watching musicals and Harry Potter with his family. He also loved animals and Terry would give a decent burial to any animal that passed away in the road.
Terry was a very hard working man with a huge heart. He always went above and beyond for anyone needing help. Terry loved his family tremendously and he will be deeply, deeply missed.
Terry is survived by his wife Barbara; children Tarrah, Richard, Pam, Christle and Matthew; siblings Dolores, Darla, Doug, Randy, Gary, Bonnie, Carolyn, and Donnie; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Terry was preceded in death by siblings Patsy, Ricky, Larry and Orson Jr.

April 28, 2018 at 4:01 amSo sad to hear of Terry’s passing. Have not been around him since he was a kid but can tell by reading all the wonderful things about him that he was a kind, gracious human being. May peace fall on his family and comfort them in their loss.

April 21, 2018 at 6:38 pmPoppa Terry was truly a generous giving soul. He helped so many, many people over the years and stayed humble. He never wanted any acknowledgement. Just help folks out that needed help. He loved his Bingo and when he would win he would share his winnings with us kids. Always so giving, we had many talks, and so glad to have him around when I was pregnant, he walked with me and wore my pink and brown velvet sweats that I no longer fit in. LOL Funny Poppa, a real man that would wear pink, and looked good in it.A good Poppa(grandpa) to my kids, cherish the birthdays, Christmas and New Years Eve parties with him. Laughing, and loud when the household was filled with us all. We all talked at the same time and he just sat there and smiled. I’m going to miss him, always thought Poppa would be around , just never crossed my mind that one day he would pass too. Love you always~ in my heart. Pammie
