Pyara Singh

December 1935 – July 2018

Mr. Singh was born in Undivided India on December 6, 1935. He passed away July 1, 2018 at his residence in Livingston, California. Pyara received his teaching degree in India and retired 36 years later as a Principal. He came to Livingston, California where he belonged to the Livingston B Street Sikh Temple. He enjoyed teaching, farming, reading, walking, and watching Indian news.

Pyara is survived by his two sons Chander Mohan Singh and Ajay Singh; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and three sisters.

A Sikh Funeral with Witness Cremation will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 12pm – 2pm at Allen Mortuary.

Great man, I was one of his students. He will be greatly missed, he taught me English before my arrival to the US. He had a powerful impact on my life. My condolences to the family.

Dear CM Astonished to know about daddy jee. A nice , honest, disciplined, hard worker, technical n peace loveing person left us. Feeling very sad n will miss that personality for ever. Pray to God for rest his soul in peace. Very very sad news.

I am so sorry for the loss of the Saini family. Bhagwan bless departed soul in His holy feet and give courage to the whole family to bear this burden of sorrows.
Uncle Ji was such a nice man with a loving family. His family was always talking about him and his nice nature. He was very educated and was retired as a teacher/principal but his teachings will never be forgotten.
