Larry Duane Utley

Oct. 1957 ~ Feb. 2020

Larry was a lifelong resident of Modesto and passed away at the age of 62. He leaves behind his children Brian Utley, Larry Utley Jr., Riley Utley and Ashley Frasier; siblings Carrie, Pam, Dena and Davina and grandchildren Cooper, Thomas and Arabella.

Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 2:00-4:00p.m. with a funeral to follow at 4:00p.m. also at Allen Mortuary.

I am saddened to hear of Larry passing we had a lot of laughs together in Folsom prison we worked together in the kitchen. He had a heart that was as big he was. He was a big man. I only wish that I could have seen him once more. My sincere condolences to his family.

Wow pop I can’t believe it’s already been 2 months. God I miss you so much. I got Riley Ray out here he’s doing great just needs to lose his attitude. Lol. You would be so proud of him. I am. Fuck I still can’t believe you’re gone. I want to hug you so bad I love you pop.

You were my friend for along time Brian was just a baby when I met Kathy and you over on Prescott . We had a lot of good times I love ya you big ol teddy bear John and you Are both gone I lost two brothers in a few days . My heart is broken until we meet again Love ya lar dog
