Danny R. Perry August 25, 1949 - May 26, 2020

Danny R. Perry

1949 ~ 2020

Danny R. Perry, 70, of Turlock California, passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2020.  He rejoins his father and mother, Manuel and Virginia Perry, and brother Harold Horstmeyer, welcomed with open arms.

Danny is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Perry (of 50 years), son Anthony Perry (Amy), daughter Rachael Camara (Pete), granddaughter Keni Edge-Perry, grandsons Kevin and Drake Malienpaard, sister-in-law Terese Kennedy (Fred), nieces Terry and Debbie Horstmeyer and many more loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Dan was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone.

Danny was born in San Francisco on August 25, 1949. Later he met the love of his life and soulmate Cynthia. There they started a family and moved to the Valley where he spent the next few decades working in Sales and Services for Floor Covering, making a name for himself.  He was born with a lead foot and a passion for classic and fast cars.  Even just recently he could be seen racing around in his Pacifica with anyone who would dare. He was a diehard S.F. 49ers and S.F. Giants fan, watching every game he could.  He would spend his time off with his family camping, skiing and going to the lakes.  He loved fishing and relaxing with a beer, laughing and joking, bringing a smile to those around.  He also loved bowling and was always shooting for another Perfect Game.  After he retired, he took to a life of relaxation and growing his own crops.  Many times he could be seen in his camo sun hat out tending to his girls in his garden.

Dan’s wife and children were the pride and joy of his life. The legacy of Dan’s kind spirit, passion for sports, love of cars, and zest for life will live on through them.  He will forever be missed, but never forgotten.

As per Danny’s wishes, there will be no funeral.  The family just hopes he be remembered as the loving wonderful man he was whom is at peace now.
