September 9, 2021 at 2:29 amHappy belated birthday Dan! I just had a beer out of that mini mug I’ve always had that you loved. I laugh every time I remember your sense of humor and when we got a kick out of frosting the tiny mug and having a beer out of it. Your funny giggle. How bought the time me you and moni bought mr. Bubbles from raleys in turlock and pouring them into the down town fountain. Rebels to the core!!! I hate knowing your gone from this world. So thankful I got to be your friend. I’ll remember you always friend. Love you!

January 22, 2021 at 5:09 pmIt was years ago and myself and the family had gone camping on the coast. Daniel and my daughter decided not to spend the night and were heading home. We all said our goodbyes and they left.
Hours later, we see headlights coming towards us in the campground. Sure enough, it was my daughter and Daniel. My daughter was very upset at mot being able to get home, but Daniel seemed fine and took it in stride.
It seems that instead of heading east towards home, the went north to San Francisco, then east to Sacramento, then southwest to some point south of where we were.
Daniel was in a good mood through all of the retelling of their wandering lost through the wilderness of highways. How he didn’t jump out of the car at highway speeds showed his patience and his willingness to stick by his girlfriend, though I’m sure it was difficult.
Daniel, I hope you’re making new friends and getting together with old ones now. Your leaving us so early is a true loss. You were and are loved.

January 22, 2021 at 3:02 pmTo the entire Morales family, I am so sorry for your loss. A loss every single person who knew and loved him will never recover from. Dan was one of the kindest souls I ever met and had the pleasure to love deeply. I will always remember his laugh and larger than life jovial personality. I am beyond devastated to learn of this and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers and send you love and light for as long as I live. My only hope is that he is with Rosemary and they are both watching over you all. Love to you all, from the bottom of my heart.

January 22, 2021 at 3:33 amWow. I am at a loss for words. I loved Dan with my entire heart. He was my brother and one of my best friends from the time I was 15 to 23. Dan called me Hazelnut because of all the hazelnut creamer I drank in my coffee to stay awake at Stan state working weddings. Dan was one of my most missed friends. He was so genuine and kind. He was patient and I only ever saw him angry once. I had the honor to know him, to laugh with him, to cry with him. After all these years I can still hear Dan laughing and I will carry that in my heart all that days of my life. I will send love and light to him every time I think of him. As I will for his wife and children who I didn’t have the honor of knowing. Shlove you brother! Thanks for always being down to play guitar while I tried to be a singer. And I’ll never forget all the “watermelons” you screamed during your songs in Never ending hail.

I will always remember when we got done with school and went to Crane Park and would push that merry go round deal until someone would fall off lol. Our trips around Turlock Walking or skating.
