Boyda Joy Collins April 24, 1940 - November 13, 2020

Boyda Joy Collins was born on April 24, 1940 and entered into heaven on November 13, 2020. Boyda was born in Davenport, Iowa to Boyd and Cleo LeValley. She and her family moved to Stockton, CA where she met her husband, Ben. Ben and Boyda were married on August 18, 1956 and had three beautiful daughters, Ginger, Kinthy, and Cindy.

Boyda fought a tremendous 5 year battle with cancer before going home to heaven. She fought this with dignity, grace and her eyes always set on the silver lining. She was so proud to say that she fought hard to be with her family.

Boyda was greeted in heaven by her husband, Ben; granddaughter, Christy; her parents, Cleo and Boyd and her siblings, Rae and Guy. On December 21, 2020, Boyda was at heaven’s gates to greet her daughter, Kinthy. Boyda leaves behind her daughters Ginger Holland-Collins and Cindy Davenport (Fred), son-in-law Mike, three siblings Frankie Clair, Brad LeValley, and Stan Stokes, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Boyda will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
