Stephen Bennie Blount, a godly man, veteran and amazing father, passed away peacefully in Boise, Idaho on Nov. 12, 2017 at the age of 73. A wonderful pastor and teacher, Steve also could do just about anything including truck driver, bus driver and funeral director. Ultimately Steve’s passion was teaching the Word of God.
Steve hobbies included hunting and fishing. He was also known for his generosity as he would give anyone his last dollar. Most of all he loved his family with all his heart. He will be deeply missed.
Steve is survived by his children, daughters Bonnie Babb-Barthel, Sherry Tanis, Diane Elledge, Mariah Blount; son Michael Blount; siblings Lee Blount and Jackie Matthews; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents Opal and Edna Blount, children Stephanie Nilsson, Donald Huff; 7 siblings and great granddaughter Gaby Garibay.
A Memorial Service was held at 1 pm on Sat., Nov. 25, 2017 at Allen Mortuary.
