Trisha Susanne Leer was born on March 1, 1971 in Mountain View, California.  Trisha passed away peacefully at John Muir Hospital surrounded by her loving family on July 25, 2021 at the age of 50.

Trisha grew up in Colorado and attended Arvada West High School and graduated in 1989.  After high school Trisha moved to Turlock.  Trisha worked for McDonalds in Turlock and went to church at Bethel Temple where she met the love of her life, Nick Leer.  Trisha then worked for the law office of William Morris.  It was during her tenure at this job in 1991 that Nick asked Trisha to marry him.  They were married on June 1st, 1991.  Later Trisha went to work for Capax Insurance in the accounting department.  While Trisha held down her job with Capax, she became secretary for the Turlock Seadogs Swim Team as her daughters swam for this team.

As time went on, Trisha moved into the position of president of the swim team.  Trisha worked very hard and gave her all to her job, the swim team, family and friends.

Trisha is survived by her husband of 30 years, Nick Leer, her two daughters Taylor and Hailey Leer, two sisters Rachel Baber, April Garza and son Reyes, sister in laws Christina Leer and Thea and Dane Boucher, sons Luke and Levi, father and mother in law Hans and Carolyn Leer.

A celebration of Trisha’s life will be held at New Life Christian Center on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 1:00pm. 

The family asks for attendees to wear masks and observe social distancing.

    My heartfelt condolences and sympathy for your loss. I work on the 15th floor in the building in downtown Modesto where she also worked one floor below and shared many rides down the elevator with Trisha. Always kind and smiling.

    I was blessed to call this beautiful woman my friend for many years. She had a heart of gold and a personality that made me love her dearly. She was funny, witty and compassionate. I will miss our longs talks about family, books and our favorite shows.
    I am so grateful for her friendship. She will be in my heart and memories forever. Rest In Peace my sweet friend. Until we meet again.
