John Harvey Rouse, Sr.

John Rouse, age 71, passed away on August 29, 2021 at Emanuel Medical Center, with his wife and daughter by his side. John was born in Visalia and grew up in Delhi, California. He drove a truck for over 20 years. He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed fishing, trips to the beach, and exploring the outdoors.

John is survived by his wife Rosa Rouse; son John Rouse, Jr.; daughter Tiann Rouse; four grandchildren, John Rouse III, Richard Ramirez, Jacob Rouse, and Nia Rouse and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Geneva Rouse, sister Alice Storment, and two brothers Dalbert and Leo Rouse.

Visitation will be from 10am – 12pm on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Allen Mortuary. A graveside will be held at 1pm also on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Lakewood Memorial Park.

You were always a great guy, a wonderful dad, & very supportive of the Delhi kids, at school & community sports. You were always friendly & helpful. You were good to me, my mom & dad when we’d see you at the baseball games at Shattuck Park. May you Rest in Paradise & keep watch over your wonderful family.
