Charles was born in San Jose, California to Charles and Hazel Lynds and passed away at the age of 97 in Fair Oaks, California. He was married to Marilyn (Kessler) Lynds for 74 years and together they had two children. Charles served in the United States Army and was a banker for many years.
He is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn Lynds; children Christopher Lynds (Jan), and Catherine Lynds-Lau (Greg Lau); grandchildren Corbin Blankenbiller (Shannon), Ryan Blankenbiller (Bita), and Steven Lynds (Steph Tow); great grandchildren Madeline, Alexander, Samuel, Rowan, and Ava. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and great grandchild Corbin River Blankenbiller.
