Arlene was born in Turlock to Knut and Ruth Dahlgren and was a lifelong resident. She worked for Turlock Irrigation District for over 30 years. Arlene was the most sought after Bassoon player in the central valley. She was a part of Merced Symphony, Stockton Symphony, Modesto Symphony and Hilmar Barn Band. She enjoyed camping and travelled all over the U.S. Her nieces and nephews will always remember her generous nature.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews Daniel (Lyla) Repke, Irvin (Nan) Klaschus, Christine (Neil) Pettifor and Andrew “Alan” Dahlgren. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Harlan Dahlgren and Norma Klaschus.
Memorial service will be held at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, June 11, 2022 beginning at 10am.
