Donald “Donny” Pello was born in Oakland, CA on March 28th, 1956 and went home to be with the Lord in heaven on August 17th 2022 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, CA. He was raised in Fremont California where he graduated from Kennedy High School. He lived in the Bay Area for the first half of his life and then decided to relocate to the Central Valley where he lived the remainder of his days.

Don had a huge heart and was always able to make you laugh regardless of the situation and was always one to make friends wherever he went. Don was also a very loving father and grandfather and enjoyed every moment he got to spend with his children and grandchildren, they were the light of his life. His passion was cooking, and he would cook you a meal no matter the time or day. He also loved dancing, the outdoors, his cold beer and just having a good time. He was a free spirit and didn’t like wearing a shirt and would get out of his car in the middle of traffic and dance to his favorite song without a care in the world. Some of his other pleasures were studying the art of karate, fast motorcycles and collecting classic firearms.

Don was a great man and loved by many, he will truly be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.

Services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, September 3rd at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway in Turlock.
