Malkito Khangura passed away in the presence of her family on October 13, 2022. She was born on October 15, 1940 to Sampuran Shergill and Bisi Kaur in Punjab, India. She came to the United States in 1980 to make a life here with her husband Surinder. Malkito moved to Atwater in 1996 and lived there until her passing. She loved to garden growing vegetables, which she had so many that she always made sure she gave to the neighbors. She was an honest and hard worker as she worked on the lines in food production for different companies for 20 years. She was a dedicated mother to her sons, a caring and supportive wife to her husband, a devoted grandmother to her six grandkids. Malkito is survived by her husband Surinder Khangura, sons Balbir Khangura of Tracy, CA and Kulwinder Khangura of Atwater. She is also survived by her six grandchildren.
Malkito was a wife, a mother, grandmother, and friend, she will be remembered and loved always.
