Rosa Galaviz Lapinia passed peacefully on October 28, 2022. She was 92 and lived her life surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Sinaloa, Mexico on December 28, 1930, she started her life in a country she loved. Later in life she wanted to explore what the world had to offer, so she migrated up to California for new opportunities. She met and married her husband Tony Lapinia. She learned two new languages, and became a mother. They settled in the small town of Delhi, CA and started their family.
In her lifetime, Rosa became a mother, grandmother and friend to many, joining clubs in her community. In her life, Rosa enjoyed hanging out with family and friends, going to the casinos, and working in her garden.
Rosa is survived by her daughter Magdalena Lapinia, and granddaughters Natasha Dominguez, Cherina Dominguez, Nadya Fuentes, and Daisy Fuentes. She was preceded in death by her husband Tony Lapinia.
Rosa’s family wishes to thank members of the community for their support and kindness in her life and now in her passing. The family is very grateful for the wonderful care from her friends and her community.
Rosa’s rosary service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 5pm-6pm at Allen Mortuary. We will proceed with mass at St Jude Thaddeus Roman Catholic Church in Livingston on Tuesday, November 15th at 12pm. Rosa will be laid to rest directly after church proceedings at Turlock Memorial Park.
