Karen (Vannest) Holder, age 69, passed away in the early morning on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
Karen was born on April 11,1954 in Merced to James and Beulah (Nix) Vannest. She attended schools in Delhi and married her high school sweetheart, Stanley Holder, in 1943.
Karen enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren. Karen will always be remembered for her loving and kind nature and for being an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter and sister.
Karen was preceded in death by her husband Stanley, grandson Justin Holder, her father and two sisters. She is survived by her mother, three children: Jody (Scott)
Stephens of Snelling, Kathy Kennedy of Turlock, and Michael Holder of Modesto, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, three sisters and one brother.
She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside services will be held on June 9, 2023 at 10 AM at North Hilmar Cemetery, 8710 Tegner Rd., Hilmar.
