Galen passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on August 8, 2023. He loved the Lord with all his heart.
He met the love of his life Natalie while attending church in October of 1983; they were blessed by God with two children, a son- and daughter-in-law and six grandchildren and shared 39 years of love.
His favorite times were spent camping, fishing, playing games with his family, and playing practical jokes on everyone he knew.
Galen was born in Dragerton, Utah to LaSalle and Bettie Christensen. He leaves behind his wife Natalie Christensen; children Sheridan (Joni) Christensen and Katisha (Nathen) Porter; grandchildren Dominick, Jace, Gryffin, Kadence, Reagan and Zayn; mother Bettie Christensen; siblings Theron Christensen, Diane Christensen, Phil Christensen, Cindy Davidson, Cathy Bostwick, and Joe Heywood.
Galen was preceded in death by his father LaSalle Christensen and sister Pamela Habblett.
Visitation will be held at Allen Mortuary on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 5:00-7:00p.m. Funeral will also be at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 10:00a.m. The family would like to invite you to share in celebrating his life proceeding the funeral ceremony at Richland Faith Assembly of God.
There will be a private interment Monday, August 21, 2023 at Lakewood Memorial Park for family.
He was an amazing husband, father, pop, brother, son, and friend. He left a legacy of living for Jesus and he will be greatly missed.
