Angelita was born in Sugarland, Texas to Barney and Mary (Aguilar) Gutierrez in December 1935. She lived in the San Jose, CA area for 40 years before settling in Turlock 24 years ago. Angelita belonged to All Saints Catholic Church in Turlock, and enjoyed music, dancing, and activities at the Turlock Senior Center.
Angelita is survived by her son Santos Rosillo, Jr; two daughters Gracie (Scott) Medeiros and Sylvia (Armando) Rosillo; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and boyfriend Bill Johnson. She is also survived by her siblings Rosie, Joe, Lucy, Lisa, Anita, George, Mike, Janie, Joe, and Johnny. She is preceded in death by her husband Santos Rosillo and siblings Mingo, Raymond, and Bobby.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 7pm in the Heritage Chapel at Allen Mortuary.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024, 11am at All Saints Catholic Church in Turlock, with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
