Vicky Duck

March 15, 1943 – January 17, 2024

In loving memory of Vicky Duck, March 15, 1943 – January 17, 2024. Vicky, 80, of Turlock, peacefully passed away at her home. Born in Alameda to Charles and Charlotte Valencia, she is survived by her children, Cindy Hohl (David), Shelley Andersen (Tom) and Elizabeth Haymond (Jon); sister Linda Parson (Jerry); eleven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Vicky’s journey began at Castro Valley High in 1960, leading her to excel at Dickenson-Warren Secretarial College. She made a mark in the financial and investment industry as an Executive Administrative Assistant at Arthur Anderson and Company. Upon retiring, Vicky and Les embraced joy in Turlock, realizing their dream of owning “Duck’s Landing Ranch.” Here, her passion for horses thrived through ownership, breeding, and boarding. Her happiest moments were with family and cherished horses. Vicky’s zest for life extended to travel, exploring both foreign lands and domestic treasures.

Preceded in death by her husband Leslie Alan Duck, son Charles Duck, and her parents, Vicky leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and a life well-lived.
