Mohinder Kaur died peacefully at her home in Livingston, CA on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024.
Mohinder was born on July 6, 1942 in Ratainda Punjabi, India. She had loving parents and was blessed with four brothers. She married the love of her life, Darshan Singh, and had 6 beautiful children. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1993 to provide her children a better life.
Mohinder, better known as Bibi, was the matriarch of our family. She spent the majority of her life providing love and support to her husband, children, grandchildren, and family. Bibi taught us generosity, humility, and forgiveness. She endured many hardships in her life, however, her faith in Waheguru never staggered. Our Bibi loved and cared for our family through the very end. What she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family. Bibi was our safe haven, she was a dedicated mother and doting grandmother. She will be missed tremendously and remembered always.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Darshan Singh, and son in law, Surjit Singh Mehat. Mohinder is survived by her five children: Gurmail Mehat, Santokh Singh, Gurmail Singh, Parvinder Dhesi, and Kulvinder Kaur; and her ten grandchildren: Bobby Mehat, Sukhraj Mehat, Karina Kaur, Jashmeet Singh, Japjit Dhesi, Ravneet Dhesi, Prabhdeep Kaur, Gurjant Singh, Hardeep Singh, and Jagjot Kaur.
