Teresa nació en Guandaro Michoacán el 4 de Marzo a sus padres Elena Hernandez Zarate y Jose Ibarra Ramirez. Le sobreviven su esposo Salvador, sus hermanos, Crispina, Francisco, Guadalupe, Maria, Jose Luis y Jesus. Y sus hijos Leticia, Heriberto, Aldo, Cynthia, y Elio.
Teresa era una persona con la que podias siempre contar y si estaba en sus manos el ayudar no lo dudaba en hacerlo, en especial si se trataba de su familia. Teresa lo hacía siempre con gusto y sin esperar nada a cambio
A Teresa le gustaba cocinar y más si era para cumplirle un gusto a sus hijos o nietos. Unos de nuestros platillos favoritos tendría que ser sus chiles rellenos, y como poder olvidar sus ricas tortillas de harina! Le gustaba hornear y experimentar con todas clases de postres. Su especialidad era hacer pasteles y gelatinas para cumpleaños o días de fiesta.
Cuando venías a casa de Teresa jamás faltaba su deliciosa comida o algún tipo de postre para consentir a sus invitados. Era siempre muy linda con los que la visitaban y en su casa no se pasaba hambre. Ella era muy trabajadora y responsable. Trabajó arduamente por años y era siempre muy puntual y eficiente en lo que hacía. Su dedicación para salir adelante era siempre admirable por los que la rodeaban.
Le gustaba ir a Mexico y claro que allá todos la quieren y aprecian mucho, , se la pasaba cada año recolectando: artículos de ropa, zapatos, o algo que alguien de la familia le había pedido. Para así poderlos compartirlos en México. Y era algo que todos apreciaban, recibían y agradecían de todo corazón siempre.
Su conexión con la naturaleza era innegable. Bajo su cuidado amoroso cada año las plantas y las flores siempre florecían y estaban en su máximo esplendor, como si reconocieran en su presencia un motivo para crecer más fuertes y más hermosas. En su jardín, un espectáculo de colores y aromas se desplegaba en un ciclo constante de renovación y vida, una prueba palpable de su don natural para cultivar la belleza de sus plantas y flores en su forma más pura. Ella amaba su jardín y cada maceta es una extensión del amor que les dedicaba. Era su pequeño paraíso que siempre le brindaba paz a su alma
Teresa nos deja un vacío enorme en el mundo de los que la quieren y tuvieron la fortuna de conocerla. Todos y cada uno de ellos la llevaran en sus corazones siempre. Sobre todo en los corazones de su esposo, hijos y hermanos. Jamás será igual este mundo sin ella, y en especial el día de acción de gracias, que cada año por años se celebraba en casa de Mama Tere. No hay manera de llenar el vacío que ha dejado, solo queda el consuelo de saber que está al lado de Dios y que ya no sufre ni siente dolor.
Ahora tenemos un ángel en el cielo que nos cuida y esperamos con ansias el volver a encontrarnos.

Teresa was born in Guandaro Michoacán on March 4 to her beloved parents Elena Hernandez Zarate and Jose Ibarra Ramirez. She is survived by her husband Salvador, her siblings, Crispina, Francisco, Guadalupe, Maria, Jose Luis and Jesus, and her children Leticia, Heriberto, Aldo, Cynthia, and Elio.
Teresa was a person with whom you could always count and if it was in her hands to help she did not hesitate to do so, especially if it involved her family. Teresa always did it with pleasure and without expecting anything in return.
Teresa liked to cook and even more so if it was to please her children or grandchildren. One of our favorite dishes would have to be her chiles rellenos, and how can we forget her delicious flour tortillas! She liked to bake and experiment with all kinds of desserts. Her specialty was making cakes and jellos for birthdays, holidays, or special occasions.
When you came to Teresa’s house, there was never a lack of delicious food or some type of dessert to pamper her guests. She was always very nice to those who visited her and no one went hungry when visiting her home. She was very hard-working and responsible. She worked hard for years and was always very punctual and efficient in what she did. Her dedication to getting ahead was always admired by those around her.
Salvador and Teresa went to Mexico every December. Teresa would spend the year collecting items like shoes, clothing, or something one of the family members had requested to take down to the family. Family down in Mexico loved and appreciated Teresa and all she did for them.
Her connection with nature was undeniable, under her loving care each year the plants and flowers always bloomed and were at their peak, as if they recognized in her presence a reason to grow stronger and more beautiful. In her garden, a spectacle of colors and aromas unfolded in a constant cycle of renewal and life, palpable proof of her natural gift for cultivating the beauty of her plants and flowers in their purest form. She loved her garden and each pot is an extension of the love she gave them. It was her little paradise that always brought peace to her soul.
Teresa leaves an enormous void in the world of those who loved her and were fortunate enough to know her. Each and every one of us will forever carry her in our hearts. Above all in the hearts of her husband, children, and siblings. This world will never be the same without her, especially Thanksgiving, which was celebrated every year for years at Mama Tere’s house. There’s no way to fill the void that is left, there is only the consolation of knowing that she is in the glory of God and that she no longer suffers or feels pain.
Now we have an angel in heaven watching over us and we look forward to meeting again.
A Visitation and Rosary will be held at Allen Mortuary on Tuesday, June 18 from 4-7pm with the rosary beginning at 6pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Hughson on Wednesday, June 19 starting at 9am. Burial at Lakewood Memorial Park to follow.
