Betty Elizabeth Truett, 80, of Denair, California, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, on November 30, 1943, Betty moved to Patterson, California, at a young age, where she later graduated from Patterson High School.

In 1960, she married the love of her life, James Truett. Together, they shared a beautiful bond for 64 years. In 1972, they made their home in Denair, California, where they raised their family. Betty worked as a dedicated cook for the Denair Unified School District for over 20 years, creating lasting memories with her colleagues and students.

Betty is survived by her beloved husband, James Truett; her three children: daughter Tammy Pifer and her husband, Eric; son Jim Truett and his wife, Angel; and daughter Teri Hyatt and her husband, Brian. She also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, with one more blessing on the way.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers George, and James Crawford, and her two sisters Maxine Brainard, and Corine Morrison.

Betty had many passions, including crocheting, cooking for family gatherings, and tending to her flowers and plants. She loved playing cards with friends and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 9:00a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00a.m. at Allen Mortuary. Betty will be laid to rest at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery at 1:00p.m. the same day.

Her kindness, warmth, and love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
