Vincent Leal Hernandez July 6, 1954 - December 27, 2022

Date of Service

January 7, 2023

Vincent Leal Hernandez, a dedicated father, grandfather, brother uncle and friend, passed away on December 27, 2022, at his home in Delhi, CA. He was 68 years old and was born on July 6, 1954 in Oakland, CA to Sally Leal. Vince had a smile that was larger than life and lit up every room he walked into. He was very protective of those that he loved and enjoyed helping people.  He was a strong male presence in the life of all who knew him. Vince worked at B&H Manufacturing in Ceres, CA for many years as a service technician. During this time, he traveled the world visiting Spain, Italy, Japan, Tokyo, New York, and Russia. He would return home from his business trips excited to share all that he had experienced with his family who anxiously awaited his return.

He then worked alongside his eldest son, Vincent, at Tufco Flooring for several years where they shared many memories together. He loved doing odd jobs and fixing things.  He was a jack of all trades but a master of none, but knew a lot more than a master of one. By the grace of God, Vince gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ and served as an usher at Full Gospel Tabernacle and was involved in the Bus ministry, helping bring children to Jesus Christ.

Vince met the love of his life, Rosa Rios, in Livingston, CA. They were together for 22 years and had three wonderful children, Vincent Jr., Priscilla, and Robert. After his divorce, Vince met Jill and they had a beautiful daughter together named Sarah. Vince’s love and devotion to others was evident in his last days as he continued to help those in need. His greatest wish in life was that everyone would be happy and just get along with one another.

He is survived by his four children Vincent Hernandez, Priscilla Miller, Robert Hernandez, and Sarah Hernandez; his siblings, Francis Padilla, Ortensia Herrera, Cynthia Valdez, Dolores Hernandez, Clarence Saldana, Alvaro (Paco) Saldana, Isadora Saldana, Irma Saldana, Laura Saldana, and Benjamin Saldana. He was preceded in death by his mother Sally Leal and his brother Martin Ramirez.
