Gloria Salazar, age 78 of Keyes, CA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on 12/31/23, after a short stay in the hospital.
Gloria was born on May 30, 1945 in Texas and brought to Fresno, California in 1957 and raised by her mother and father, Santos and Manuela Rendon.
She is survived by her children Mamie Botello, Adam O’Neal Botello, Brenda Lee Botello, Dimitril Rojas, and Divine Gonzalez. She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Bernadette Naranjo; her siblings Juanita Anderson, Ramon Rendon among four other siblings in Texas and preceded in death by her other siblings Santos, Jesus, Guadalupe, Anita, Enemica, Manuel, Erasmo and Lee Rendon. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Gloria was a generous soul who took on many passions, one of which included drawing. She had incredible artistic talent. She found comfort and peace in collecting old coins.
Gloria was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. She cared so deeply for the people around her and was a grandma to a lot of people in her community. She was so kind and passionate. She made an impact on many lives and will be forever missed.
Rosary on Tues., January 9 at 6pm at Allen Mortuary. Funeral mass on Weds., January 10 at St. Judes Catholic Church in Ceres at 12pm.
