In Loving Memory of Francisca Olga Ceja
December 26, 1955 – February 25, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Francisca Olga Ceja at the age of 68 in Modesto, California. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Olga was born in Raymondville, Texas. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her life was a tapestry woven with moments of joy, laughter, and unwavering love.
Olga’s journey was guided by her deep devotion to her family and Catholic faith. She channeled her creativity through her love of cooking, crocheting, embroidering, and crafting. Her favorite past times included spending time with her grandchildren, going out to eat with family and friends, and recreating recipes and crafts from YouTube videos. Olga was especially known for her signature Thanksgiving stuffing, Christmas tamales, and diabetic-friendly baked goods.
She is survived by her three daughters, Cristina Sperry, Veronica Espinoza and Bianca Flores and her five grandchildren. She is also survived by her two siblings, Raul Ceja of Stockton, and Irma Van Tassel of Turlock.
She is preceded in death by her parents Amelia and Jesus Ceja, siblings Jesse Ceja and Maria Herrera, her nephew Jaime Herrera, and brother-in-law Roger Van Tassel.
We invite family, friends, and loved ones to join in her celebration of life. Viewing will take place at Allen Mortuary on March 2, 2024. Rosary and mass will take place on March 4, 2024, at All Saints University Parish. Burial will take place at Turlock Memorial Park. Allen Mortuary is located on 247 N. Broadway in Turlock. All Saints University Parish is located on 4040 McKenna Dr in Turlock. Turlock Memorial Park is located on 575 N. Soderquist Rd in Turlock.
