Al Trimm January 8, 1930 - April 15, 2025

Al passed away April 15, 2025 peacefully at his residence in Turlock, California. Al was born in Ada, Oklahoma. Al was a jack of all trades. As a young man, he took care of the family farm and would go to work at the local gas company. He came to Modesto 65 years ago and started his career as an automobile mechanic and continued this for about 10 years. He then became a food salesman for 50 years. He settled in Turlock for the last 35 years. He married Dorothy Gwin in 1973. He enjoyed fishing, RVing, traveling, painting homes and being an all-around handyman. He was a member of Crossroads Church in Turlock and enjoyed being an usher there.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Trimm; stepson Dwane Gwin; and stepdaughter Linda Thorn; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jerry Trimm; one sister and one brother.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 10 AM at Lakewood Memorial Park with Pastor Mori Elliott officiating.
