Albert George, age 72, passed away in Modesto, CA on Feb 19th, 2022. He was born on September 16th, 1949 in Kermanshah, Iran to Sargis and Nastarsi George. He immigrated to Chicago, Illinois in 1972 and worked at several airline companies in the Chicago area that included Air France and Pan Am.
In the early 1980’s, he established his own business, Alrad International, with subsidiaries Asian Air Lift and American Bonded Warehouse that specialized in importing and exporting air freight to locations such as Poland and Vietnam. In later years, he specialized in selling computer peripherals in Southern California and was a real estate broker at Edmonds Realty in the Seattle/Everett, WA area. He retired to Turlock, CA to be close to family.
He had many stories about his life experiences that will be cherished by friends and family. He traveled around the world and experienced many different cultures in his travels. He strongly supported his family and was there when they needed him. Those who knew him will always love him.
He is survived by his sisters Albertin George of Turlock, CA, Eglantin Issabey of Santa Clara, CA, and Victoria Helen George of Turlock, CA. He is also survived by nieces Arbella Vogel and family of Santa Clara, CA, Nineveh Weaver and family of Sparks, NV, nephew William S. George of Turlock, CA, and daughter Meagan Wurmnest of WA state.
Arrangements through Allen Mortuary. Visitation scheduled from 5-7pm on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022 with funeral at Allen Mortuary at 10AM om Friday March 4th, 2022. Burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
