Alberto (Albert) Reyna was born on November 5th, 1964 in French Camp, California. Albert was the third of six children born and raised by nurturing parents Ramiro and Sara Reyna. At the age of 58, Albert is survived by his five, almost as good-looking, siblings: Ramiro (Jr.), Ernesto (Ernie), John (Johnny), Andres (Andy), and Cynthia (Cindy). Albert’s son Alberto Junior (A.J.) and daughters Brandi and Amanda live on to continue Albert’s enduring family legacy.
Albert was a big-hearted, generous, teddy bear of a man with just as big of a smile and an even larger personality. Albert worked hard, played hard, and had a passion for enjoying life’s simple pleasures like pocketing loose change by playing cards at the kitchen table, toiling on a project in his yard, or watching the Oakland Raiders or a good fight. One of Albert’s favorite activities was cooking and sharing his meals at family gatherings. In a close second, was his love for the great outdoors. However, whether hunting, fishing, or camping you could still count on one of Albert’s good hot meals like a campfire grilled steak wrapped in a flour tortilla with a roasted chile relleno.
Albert is deeply loved and missed by his friends and family. Albert, your warm, deep, and gravelly voice still echoes in our ears. As strong as our feelings are for you, Albert, your hugs and love were just as strong if not stronger. As we wrestle with our loss, we can at least know that you are in the comfort of eternal peace. Love, respect, remembrance…
