Albertin George, age 86, passed away on October 12th, 2023. She was born on September 18th, 1937 in Kermanshah, Iran to parents Sargis and Nastarsi George. The eldest of four siblings, she was employed as a hospital administrator. She was good at her job and even helped facilitate medical treatment for persons who would otherwise not been able to receive. She loved nature and being outdoors in outings with friends and family. In 1968, she immigrated to the United States, settling in Chicago, IL. She resided there for twenty-three years. She worked retail and helped out her family to immigrate and make a new life in the United States.
After living in San Antonio, TX and Turlock, CA, Albertin settled in Sparks, NV which she called home for over a decade. She was active in church and with friends. In December 2006, her life changed when she was struck by a vehicle. She beat the odds and not only survived but made a recovery. She was unable to live on her own again, so she moved to Turlock, CA to be closer to family.
She is survived by her sisters Eglantin Issabey of Santa Clara, CA and Victoria Helen George of Turlock, CA. Nieces Arbella Vogel and family of Santa Clara, CA, Nineveh Weaver and family of Sparks NV, and nephew William S George of Turlock, CA. She is predeceased by both of her parents and brother Albert George.
