Born February 21, 1971, Anthony grew up in Newman, CA where he graduated from Orestimba High School. At college he earned a degree in Computer Science and later achieved his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification. His computer and programming expertise was invaluable while employed at various local businesses over the years including most recently the City of Modesto, working closely with the Modesto Police Department.
When he wasn’t tinkering with technology, Anthony enjoyed riding motorcycles, sailing, travel, woodworking, camping and cooking. His adventures include rafting the Colorado river through the Grand Canyon at seven, riding motorcycles with his dad, including his beloved Honda VFR Interceptor, since he was a teenager, navigating aboard a 52 foot Beneteau sailboat around the British Virgin Islands with his father in his thirties and traveling the globe with his wife throughout his thirties and forties.
Anthony had a warm, kind, patient nature which endeared him to the people in his life. He was generous and always quick to lend a hand to others. His unwavering positivity, loyalty and caring resulted in many treasured friendships. He lived his life well and was a great role model. Anthony never gave up, not even when faced with cancer. He was always positive, upbeat, kind and loving.
The sun set on this lovely human being October 29, 2024. He’ll be sorely missed and loved forever.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife Kim, parents Tony Miranda and Laura Russo, sister Jean and his adoring niece and nephews.
