January 29, 2019 at 5:01 pmI met Art and the family when I was 12 years old and moved into the house next to them on Orange Ave. in Turlock. Lost touch after high school but reconnected in the late 90’s when he did some handyman work for my aunt. What fun it was to talk about when we were teenagers. He came from a truly, lovely family. My sympathies to Leroy, Howard, Bob and their families.

January 28, 2019 at 12:06 amArt and Carol Knapp have always been inspirations to us! You rarely saw one without the other! Love for others seemed to flow from them- I felt it! Carol was my prayer warrior and I’m sure she shared with Art so I know he was praying too! He will be dearly missed!

January 25, 2019 at 5:04 pmWe will miss Art. When we first started going to New Life Christian Center, Art And Carol were the first people we met, and they always made us feel so welcome. We looked forward to seeing their smiling faces each Sunday, as they welcomed us at the door. We’ve missed Carol since she’s been gone, and we will miss Art ~ they were such special people. But at least they are together now. And I have a feeling when we leave this life, they’ll be welcoming us into Heaven, too!
