Austin Luke Adams July 28, 1982 - July 9, 2021

July 28, 1982 – July 9, 2021

Austin Luke Adams was born July 28, 1982, at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock and died on July 9, 2021 in Modesto.  His life was cut short by random gun violence.

Austin is survived by his parents Alan and Beth Adams, his two brothers Andrew and Anthony (Melissa), and his treasured grandmother Elvira Englund.

Austin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, two uncles, two cousins and his maternal grandfather Luther Englund.

Austin valued life, even when it wasn’t smooth. He was proud of graduating from Turlock High School and his time working for a dairy, the concrete company, and T.I.D. He loved Angel Island, Pismo Beach, Lake Tahoe, bowling, poetry and helping others with handyman or mechanic tasks or by hauling things in his trailer for them.

Austin was a loyal friend and valued friends deeply. He was gentle, kind and compassionate. He will be greatly missed by them and his cousins, aunts and uncle.

Austin loved having a condo and was conscious of anyone he saw as less fortunate or disrespected.  Please consider charities such as The Salvation Army or Off Center Thrift & Gift in his name in lieu of flowers.

Thank you to all of you who were so significant to Austin. His love was real.

A family gathering was held on July 11th celebrating Austin’s life. A private formal memorial will held for interment at a future date.
