Bahader Singh Atwal passed away in Livingston, CA on Sunday, October 23, 2022. Bahader was born on September 20th, 1968 in Jalandhar, Punjab to Gurmail Singh Atwal and Naranjin Kaur Atwal. Bahader grew up in a small village known as Shamcharasi, in the district of Hoshiarpur. After completing grade 12 in Punjab, Bahader immigrated to the United States, to the small town of Livingston, California. He began his career in America working at local sweet potato farms, followed simultaneously with stints at local factories. He became one of the first Punjabi independent truck dispatchers in the Central Valley, which allowed him to continue his passion for growing his businesses. While following his passion for trucking, Bahader was to create a successful trucking business, B.S Atwal Trucking, which encompassed many semi-trucks and trailers, offering aid to incoming Punjabi immigrants looking to pursue trucking. He was able to pay homage to his father and make his dream come true of becoming independent farmers and owners of Harry Atwal Brothers Farm, alongside many real estate ventures.
Bahader is survived by his three children, Gurvinder, Amritpaul, and Harry Atwal. Alongside his spouse, Kamaljeet Atwal, and his two loving parents:Naranjin Kaur and Gurmail Singh. Bahader was loving Father, Husband, Son, Uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed.
