Betty Sue (Brockman) Thomas was born in Carrollton, MO, on May 14, 1936. She died at home in Ceres, CA, on October 28, 2021, after a short illness.
Betty is predeceased by her parents, Jim and Frankie Brockman, a brother, W.F. (Pard) Brockman, and an infant son, Douglas Allen Thomas. She is survived by her children, Lucian (Kathy) Thomas, Maureena (Robert) Caudle, Sarah Thomas, and Kathy Lynn Smith, a sister Lucretia (Fred) Foster, and 4 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Betty worked as a bookkeeper and spent most of her career at Dick’s Pump and Electric in Delhi. She was a charter member of 1st Southern Baptist Church, Denair, and served as the Music Director for more than 20 years. After retiring, Betty worked as a classroom volunteer at Julien Elementary. Betty was an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants.
A memorial will be held at a future date. Remembrances may be made to SEVA Hospice or 1st Southern Baptist Church, Denair.
