Carlos Filomeno Tamayo was born on March 12, 1933 in Brownsville, TX and died on May 5, 2019 at the age of 86.
He enjoyed working out in the yard, gardening, camping, fishing, playing his accordion, western movies and especially reading western novels. His favorite author was Louis L’Amour.
Carlos is survived by his ex-wife and companion Catrina C. Tamayo; daughters Mary (Dave K.) Carrillo, Christine (Kenneth) Duplantis, Jennie (Donald) Clark and Brenda (Dennis) Manzanedo; grandchildren Erin Baldwin, Kristen Serena, Ashley Franchi, Lauren Campbell, Kevin Clark, Christopher Duplantis; and seven beautiful great-grandchildren.
