Carol Ann Morris March 12, 1948 - September 11, 2023

Date of Service

September 23, 2023

Carol was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Gustave and Ruth Palm. She passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 with loved ones by her side.
Carol attended and graduated school in Minnesota and moved to California shortly after. She met her loving husband of 51 years in San Diego…she stole his seat and his heart.
She was a supportive military spouse for 15 years. After settling down in Turlock, she worked at JCPenney in Modesto and Turlock for over 25 years.
She loved shopping and exploring her creative side of painting, arts and crafts, and decorating for each season and holiday. Carol loved nature and found endless joy in watching birds, clouds, the night sky, and all the beauty made by our Creator.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Beverly Gipson, Eugene Palm, Donald Palm, John Palm, and Pat LeGros. She is survived by her husband Richard, her siblings Darlene Spencer and Duane Palm, her daughters Stephanie Morris and Danie (Geno) Avila, her granddaughters Bethany Davis, Sydney Morris and Allie Gallardo. Her bonus granddaughters RoseAnne (Cesar) Johnson and Evonne (Felix) Noriega and her bonus great-granddaughters Ariel, Cynthia, and Mia Noriega. Carol was also loved and known as the “fun and crazy aunt” to many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Memorial Medical Center, Turlock Nursing and Rehab, Compassionate Care and Covent Care Home Health. Carol’s husband and daughter Danie would like to also express their deepest gratitude to Stephanie and Sydney for being devoted and loving caregivers over the last year. Thank you for displaying the fruits of the spirit each and every day.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Allen Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hands of Hope, World Vision, or St. Jude’s.

Once you have submitted your condolence, it will be approved by our staff during office hours, then published on your loved one’s page.

Aunt Carol was a very fun, loving person that will be sadly missed by so many. I have many treasured memories of her back in Minnesota when I was just a kid and the years in California as well.
