Bill Was a great christian man and mentor for many years while growing up at first Baptist church 60’s/70’s. Our families were very close growing up, and in addition to church we spent time camping and riding motorcycles together. Bill had a great speaking voice and was our Sunday school teacher for many years. He loved to invent things; garage door openers, electric door locks, solar panel for heating water, and even a small wind turbine. Our prayers and our deepest condolences go out to his family, God bless all.

  2. Joyce Reed says

Bill was always such a gentleman. I can’t think of ever hearing him say an unkind word. I loved the little grin that would creep over his face when he told a joke. Sometimes I would practice the organ during the Sunday School hour preparing for church time. Often Bill would poke his head in the door to say he recognized the song I was playing or maybe that I needed to “try that one again.” He is one of few people I can say I only have good memories of.

I want to extend my sympathy to the family.
I always enjoyed visiting with Bill and Charlotte at any of our class reunions and in the later years our luncheons, when he was able to make it.
