Daisy Ann Jones was born March 15, 1936 to Roy Edmonds and Hazel Mae Lockhart in Rawlins, Wyoming. She was one of two children born to this union. She attended Pocatello High School and graduated with honors. Daisy accepted Christ at an early age.

Daisy met Ted Jones in 1954 and together they had four children. Having a desire to make a difference and help others she enrolled in the LVN program. After graduating, she was employed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for more than 30 years. During this time she he received many certifications and accolades. She retired from University of California Davis Medical Center in 1989 after a long fulfilling career in nursing.

Daisy had a smile that would brighten up your day. She was a beautiful soul. She loved fishing, playing bingo, going to the casinos and cooking. She loved her family and found pleasure in helping others. She was a phenomenal woman, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed.

Daisy passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, January 21, 2018. She was 81 years old.

She is preceded in death by her son Roy Hazel Standback, two grandsons Albert and Anthony Dawson, her parents and Best friend Rose Brown.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her three children, Ray Jones, Robin Jones, Ronnie Jones, her brother, Roy Edmonds 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren and a hosts of nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Ms. Jones was a fighter till the end.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, 1:00PM at Allen Mortuary. Urn placement will follow in Ceres Memorial Park at 2:30PM.
