David E. Henry was born on November 12, 1929 in Bismarck, N. Dakota. He surrendered into God’s embrace on January 30, 2023, in Modesto, California. David was a member of the Groceries Union most of his life. He worked in Modesto, Susanville, and Auburn. David served his country proudly during the Korean Conflict. When he was healthy, David was a member of the Turlock VFW.
He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Sue Henry, daughters Sandra Barber and Judy Perine, and his son Charles Simpson. David is survived by his daughter Peggy A. Parkinson, 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
The family will gather and drink a toast for David, who was a wonderful man!
