It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Doris Badelbou, who peacefully departed from this world at the age of 60, on October 23, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born in Gavilan, Iran on March 25, 1963, and at the age of 2, she embarked on a remarkable journey that would see her grow up here in Turlock, California, alongside her family and the many friends who are present to honor her today.

In 1980, she met the love of her life, Albert Badelbou, and on March 9, 1981 they got married in Turlock, CA. Together, Doris and Albert created a beautiful family, and their love was a shining example to all who knew them. They shared the joys of parenthood with three wonderful children: Bobby, Vanessa, and Amanda, and were blessed with the love and laughter of three grandchildren: Alex, Khloe, and Hannah. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Doris leaves behind her loving daughter-in-law, Ninway Bakoz.

Doris is survived by her loving mother, Kathy Yegor, who continues to be a source of inspiration and strength for the family. She also leaves behind cherished siblings, Morris Yegor and Susie Sarhad, who shared a lifetime of memories and companionship. From these bonds of love and friendship, Doris had the joy of being an aunt to two nephews, Brandon and Tristan Sarhad, and two nieces, Amber and Megan Yegor, who brought sunshine into her life.

Doris is now reunited with her beloved father, John Yegor, and her dear brother, Paul Yegor, in the embrace of the Lord. Their love and guidance were the foundation of her character and the source of her unwavering kindness.

Doris was known for her unwavering kindness, a smile that could light up any room, and a heart that was always open to others. She had a passion for family, laughter, and the simple joys of life. Her legacy is one of warmth and love that will continue to touch the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition, Doris was a devout Christian, and her faith was a guiding light in her life. She was an active member of St. Thomas Assyrian-Chaldean Catholic Church, where she found solace, community, and a deeper connection to her beliefs
