Ken “Doc” Krueger was raised on a Minnesota farm in a large family. He served in the US Army in Berlin, and then received both his Bachelor’s in Science and his DVM at University of Minnesota. Soon after, he and his young bride Patricia packed their belongings and headed for California, landing in Ripon where they raised their children Christopher and Jill. Ken ran a thriving veterinary practice, Yosemite Veterinarian in Modesto, for over 40 years and lived a full life of family, friends, fishing, travel, golf, bridge, and avid learning.
Ken will be remembered for his insatiable intellect, humor, and delight in family – particularly his grandchildren. He was unconventional and nutty through and through, and kept us all on our toes and laughing.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gustav and Frances Krueger and siblings Herb and Phyllis. He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Patricia, children Christopher and Jill, daughter-in-law Laura, his adoring grandchildren Simon and Eva, and his sisters June and Elaine.
We will miss him forever.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 1:30 pm at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, 19399 East State Highway 120 in Ripon. Reception following.
In lieu of flowers, you are invited to make a donation to Ripon Volunteer Fireman’s Association.
