1957 – 2019
Edward Babb Jr. was a loving husband, father and grandfather who lost his battle with cancer on January 26, 2019. He left this world peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones.
He leaves behind his wife of 40 years Patty, his son Jeff, his daughter Sandy, her husband Jason, his grandson Jaxon, 1 brother and 4 sisters. Ed had many friends and always had a story to tell. He was an avid fisherman who fished bass tournaments with the Riverbank Bass Anglers, Christian Bass League, and BBT (Best Bass Tournaments)
He was employed as a truck driver, painter, mechanic and worked in a lumber yard. Ed was known as a jack of all trades. He loved learning how to do something new and did it well. He was an excellent woodworker and built many pieces of furniture for his home and others. He was always willing to help anyone with any kind of project. Ed had an adventurous spirit and was always ready to travel and see someplace new. He never let his disability stop him from enjoying life. His passing will leave a large hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

January 29, 2019 at 3:14 amHe was a great friend. Loved my sister so deeply and his family. His children were his pride and joy. He made something special for every family member, a clock or piece of furniture. He loved to garden and grow everything from fruits, vegetables, friends and family. He will be missed by many and always loved. The last memory was him showing my daughter his garden and then him me Patty and Mike at a concert at the fair. Love you Ed.
