She is survived by her Husband of 49 years, Johnnie William Jordan Jr. of Ceres, CA, Sister Ruth Elaine Lamb of Snider, CO, Daughter Lory Dee Mercer of Ceres, CA, Son In Law Claude Dave Mercer Jr. of Ceres, CA, Son Lacey Odel Taylor III of Bristow, OK, Brother and sister in laws Jonalene Kruse of Colorado Springs, CO, Gwen Jordan (Sheldon Carsten) of Peyton, CO, Chuck Cirbo (Brie Cirbo) of Denver, CO, Bernie Rogers (Lisa Foster) of Colorado Springs, CO, Gaye Rogers (Brian Brown) of Colorado Springs, CO, 3 Grand Children, 11 Great Grand children, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews.
Elizabeth retired from a commercial offset printing company in Colorado Springs, CO. She worked in the printing business as a bindery worker for nearly 30 years. She was raised on a farm in Crook and Merino, Colorado and worked the fields to help her parents with row crops, and the farm animals. To this day she doesn’t like rabbits. Lol.
She graduated from Adam’s City HS. She was a big NASCAR and race fan, and at one time in her life she drove a drag car on the race circuit. She was clocked at 156 mph at 9.3 seconds. She loved football and was a huge NFL football fan, and her team was the Denver Broncos. But this year she was rooting for the 49ers to win the Super Bowl.
Elizabeth fought with her disease for many years, she was very strong in her fight, but today, her fight is over.
She is in heaven today and some of her favorite comforting scriptures are:
Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Jeremiah 31:3 The Lord appeared to them from a distance: I have loved you with a love that lasts forever. And so with unfailing love, I have drawn you to myself.
Mathew 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
