Emelia Mendoza was born on April 25, 1934 in Livingston, California to parents Emeterio and Inez Valdez. She passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023, at her home in Livingston, California at the age of 89.
She worked locally as a Packing Lead Operator for Monte Cristo Packing Company and Del Rio Nut Company, respectively. She was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church and was an active volunteer at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary #0728, in Livingston, California.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie (Scott) Kenoyer, sons: Edward (Kelly) Mendoza and Richard Mendoza, also surviving is her sister, Carmen Urnberg and grandchildren: Natasha (Katy), Tanner (Kaily), Eric (Angie), Jayden, Bridget, Jessica, Paulette, and great-grandchildren: Crosby, Hayes, Nevaeh, Asher, Levi, and Joseph. She is preceded in death by her husband Moises Mendoza, her parents, Emeterio and Inez Valdez, her sisters: Luisa Vasquez, Hermelinda Valdez, Delia Valdez, and brothers: Manuel Valdez, Chris Valdez, Frank Valdez, Chuck Valdez, Albert Valdez, Robert Valdez, Rudy Valdez.
