Ernest E. Diaz Sr. April 20, 1957 - December 14, 2021

April 20, 1957 – December 14, 2021

Ernest Earl Diaz Sr. was born on in Modesto on April 20, 1957 to Eligio and Jacinta Diaz, the youngest of six children.  He graduated from Turlock High School and later served in the United States Marine Corps reserves.  Ernest worked for many years in construction as a concrete finisher.

He is survived by his wife Olivia Diaz, daughter Corinna Gardner, son Ernest Diaz Jr., grandchildren Montana Gardner, Ernest Diaz III, Mallory Gardner, Mason Gardner, Marshall Gardner, and Isaiah Diaz, and great granddaughter Ariel Diaz. Ernest is also survived by his siblings, Elizabeth Schultz and Art Diaz.

Ernest is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Eddie Diaz and Alex Diaz, and sister Eva Quesada.

Visitation will be held at Allen Mortuary on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 1pm to 3pm.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 also at Allen Mortuary.  Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
