Ernestina Serna Marini
April 21, 1948 – November 18, 2024
With an extremely heavy heart we are sharing the passing of Ernestina “Tina” S. Marini. Tina was called home on November 18, 2024. Born on April 21, 1948, She was a woman deeply devoted to her faith and strength in adversity, including her fight(s) against cancer. She will be remembered for her compassion, positivity and the impact she has made on family, friends, the church she attended and the TUSD community.
She is survived by her two sons, Ernie Moreno and Max Garcia, daughter in law Nancy, four granddaughters, Diana, Marissa, Erika, Lola, and 4 great grandkids, Brooklyn, Zander, Vayda, and Addilynn, with baby Saldaña on the way, sister, Irene Mefford and her nieces and nephews.
Tina worked as an Instructional aide for Turlock Unified School District for 28 years. Many of those years at Osborn where she was well known and loved. She loved to watch her soaps, game shows and cooking shows on TV, and loved her puzzle games on the computer.
She will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
Viewing will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock on Monday November 25, 2024 at 1:00p.m. with funeral services to begin at 2:00p.m. also at Sacred Heart Church.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
