Eugene Kajioka
1955–2024
We are sad to announce the passing of Eugene Kajioka. He passed last week in the place he loved best, Pine Mountain Lake, Groveland, CA, where he now leaves a herd of bereaved deer that he so enjoyed feeding peaches too.
Lifelong resident of the Cortez Ballico community, he was the third of four children, but the first son of a first son.
Eugene is now reunited with his father, mother, sister, and many beloved pets.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and hugely, his French bulldogs; specifically his fur child, Tiger Lilly; his grandpups, Lattè and Norbert. There was no better Pawpi for long naps, Frenchie cuddles and Frenchie kisses.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 26th 1pm at Turlock First United Methodist Church (1660 Arbor Way). A livestream will be available–the family will post the url once they have it.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Japanese American Citizen League (c/o Dennis Yotsuya, 14500 Sunny Acres Ave, Turlock, Ca 95380).
And give your pets a big hug and treat from Eugene.
