Frederick Wilson Reno June 9, 1937 - February 1, 2025

Frederick Wilson Reno

06/09/1937 – 02/01/2025

Fred Reno was a jovial, lively man about the world who lived 87 accomplished years. Fred Reno was born in Gross Pointe Farms, Wayne County, MI to Frederick Wilbert Reno of Detroit, MI and Hazel Elien Manning of Nova Scotia, Canada on June 9, 1937. He had one sister, Patricia, who resides in Nova Scotia with her family. He graduated from high school, was a dedicated Army Veteran of 3 years, serving his time in Turkey as a communications liaison for the military; with some college for nursing school. He enjoyed a career in the plastics industry and during retirement was effective in helping senior citizens obtain health insurance and was active in the senior community.

Family adored by him: Debrah Roberts, Edward Roberts, Kristy Reno, Timothy Reno; grandchildren Eddie Roberts; Crystal Roberts; Evan Skidmore; Shannon Skidmore; Alyssa Hott; Alexander Hott; Timothy Reno Jr; Hannah Reno; Zoe Reno; great grandchildren Koran Rudd; Edward Roberts 4th; Amaya Silva; Kingston Silva; Reneya Melton; Preston Reno; Brody Hott.

Our father was dedicated to his family with strength and caring, consideration and helpful kindness. He made a point when he entered a room that everyone would know him before he left. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. His hobbies were being attentive to his grandchildren and playing the ukulele for the Sunshine Strummers of Turlock, Ca. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. The sun set for him February 1, 2025; but the sun rose the next day with his spirit joining all of us. WE LOVE YOU DAD!

His motto was:

Life is too short to wake up with regrets, so love the people who treat you right. Forget about those who don’t. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance take it. If it changes your life; let it. Nobody said life would be easy; they just promised it would most likely be worth it. Always remember “This is America” anything can happen if you look upon your life as positive and tenacious as you can, and don’t look back! Everyone is a Friend and its never goodbye, but I will see you another time.

A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date.
