Sept. 1952 ~ Nov. 2019
Gilbert was born in 1952 to Manuel and Mary Gomes and passed away at the age of 67. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family, his dogs and goats.
He is survived by his children Brian Gomes and Brandee (George Jones) Gomes; siblings Tom Gomes and Rose Pearson; grandchildren Ashley Costa, Teirsa Gomes, Brian Gomes Jr., Breanna Gomes, Christianee Garner, Destianee Garner and Eelyja Jones; six great grandchildren and girlfriend Claudia Larue. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sandy Herin and grandson Brandon Perez.
Donations can be made to Allen Mortuary or the family to help with the funeral costs.
A celebration of Gilbert’s life will be held at Allen Mortuary on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

You retained that up-beat spirit all the way to the end. You have been a positive influence on me and many others here at the park. You will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace, sir.
